My Favorite Projects: May 2012

Happy June!  I love summer and June has always been one of my favorite months. I have been working on a very exciting project that I can’t wait to share with all of you soon, but in the meanwhile let’s take a look at the past month.



1.  I am very excited to show off my newly painted white fireplace!  This was my big project of May and I love how it turned out (especially when you compare it to the before photos.)

2.  I got into gardening mode and had a nice harvest of home grown strawberries.

3.  I made chocolate peanut butter banana bites for a quick and tasty treat.

4.  I showed of my travel souvenir collection, but somehow I forgot to mention all of the postcards I collect (I only have an entire gallery wall dedicated to them!)

But enough about me, here are a few of the fabulous projects I came across on other blogs in May:



1. The kitchen makeover from A Touch of Tyrell is absolutely gorgeous!  It's my new favorite "dream kitchen."  They did an amazing job renovating a combined kitchen and living space.  It’s perfect!

2.  I love the inspiring quote Lemon Drop Life added to a photo to create some awesome art.

3.  The Velvet Door’s bedroom makeover is so elegant and pretty.  They did an amazing job.

4.  The Space Between created an outdoor rooftop bed.  Um, I didn’t even know such a thing existed and now I want one too!
