Our Costa Rican Honeymoon Part 2

Yesterday I shared some of the fun details of part 1 of my honeymoon in Costa Rica where we enjoyed the rainforest and staying directly across from a live volcano.  Today, I'm back to share the details of our less adventurous, but more luxurious remainder of vacation.

After enjoying the natural beauty of Costa Rica for half of a week, it was time to get pampered at an all inclusive resort so we headed to the beautiful Paradisus Playa Conchal.  It was my first time staying at an all inclusive resort and I loved it!  If your idea of the perfect vacation consists of eating, laying by the pool, laying on the beach, swim up bars, and more eating, then an all-inclusive resort is for you!

The rooms at the Paradisus were suites in little buildings consisting of 4 hotel rooms each:

This was definitely the biggest hotel room I've ever stayed in and I loved it's features.  Upon entering our suite, we had a little enclosed patio/sun room area with wicker chairs and airy white curtains.  I love the tropical look of this room!  If only there was a way to recreate this sunroom at home, complete with Costa Rican sunshine and warm weather of course!

The patio opened into a sitting area followed by the bedroom area.  My favorite part of this room were all of the pretty fabrics.  The simple white curtains created a clean, but tropical look.  I also loved that there were subtle tropical touches, like the upholstered chair and palm tree rug, that gave the room a tropical vibe without looking like a Hawaiian shirt from the 80s.

The rest of the resort was wonderful too and included the biggest pool I had ever seen:

But a tropical vacation wouldn't be complete without a a gorgeous beach and stunning sunset!

We really loved Costa Rica and feel so lucky that we had a chance to travel there for our honeymoon.  I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for an adventurous or luxurious vacation!
